We design homes that feel like the people who live in them
Design Shastra is a Jaipur-based interior design studio founded on a simple belief: that a well-designed home changes how you feel every single day. We believe in providing one stop solution for your renovation needs
I started Design Shastra after a decade working in architecture and hospitality design across Rajasthan. I kept noticing the same thing: the most beautiful spaces weren’t the most expensive ones — they were the ones that had been truly listened into existence.
Every project I take on begins with a conversation, not a mood board. I want to understand how you move through your home, what irritates you about it, what you love, and what you’ve always wished it could be. That understanding is the foundation everything else is built on.
Design Shastra works with a small number of clients at a time — deliberately. I believe great design requires genuine attention, and genuine attention requires limits
What we believe
Listening first
We spend more time asking questions than presenting ideas. The best design solutions are almost always hiding inside the client's own answers.
Restraint over excess
We resist the urge to fill every corner. A room that breathes — that has space and silence — is almost always more beautiful than one that doesn't.
Craft over trend
Trends date. Craft doesn't. We choose materials, furniture, and finishes that will look as good in twenty years as they do today.
Honest process
No surprises on budget, no delays without explanation. We treat your home — and your trust — with the seriousness they deserve.
